A little further away lies Quiberon and its wild coast line the « côte sauvage ». From Quiberon you can catch the ferry to Belle Ile, Houat or Hoëdic and discover the unspoilt beauty of the islands and the ocean. From nearby Locmariaquer numerous daily boat trips take you around the Golfe du Morbihan, one of the most beautiful bays in the world, dotted with islands. If Green tourism is what you are looking for, look no further : close to many walking and cycling trails, you are in the midst of nature. Should golf be your favoured sport, The Clos is not far from the St Laurent Club. Other clubs in the region are Kerver/Rhuys and Baden towards to west and Ploemeur et Val Queven towards the east. Southern Britanny is blessed with many historic and beautiful towns : Auray and its lovely river harbour at St Goustan, Vannes ,its impressive ramparts and endless mediaval streets (also very good for shopping). To the west is Lorient where the Eric Tabarly museum (Cité de la Voile) is well worth a visit.

Clos Saint Aubin is close to St Laurent golf course, in the middle of the golfic region, between Kerver/Rhuys and Baden golfs on one side, and Ploemeur and Queven golfs on the other side.



From our farmhouse, the Clos Saint Aubin in Carnac, you can easily visit Auray, and its charming little port (St Goustan), Vannes and its ramparts, and the town, the port and the Tabarly museum in Lorient.
